Let’s talk about the role:

We’re looking for an Automation & Product Lead to join our team in Melbourne. This role sits across cyber delivery, product strategy, and automation. It’s perfect for someone who sees both the big picture and the technical detail—someone who wants to create tools and systems that drive impact at scale.

You’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering automation-first approaches to cyber delivery, transforming how our products support both clients and internal teams.

Let’s talk about your responsibilities:

– Own the full lifecycle of internal and client-facing cyber products—from roadmap to rollout
– Build and manage automation workflows across our cyber functions, especially within security operations
– Translate technical capability into business value through productised services
– Work cross-functionally with cyber delivery leads, engineering, and client teams
– Lead agile processes, manage backlogs, and prioritise features that matter
– Ensure documentation, QA, and rollout comms are always fit for purpose
– Track adoption, impact, and feedback to continuously improve outputs

Let’s talk about your skills:

– Background in cybersecurity, ideally with exposure to security operations, infrastructure, or GRC
– Experience owning or managing digital products in a B2B or technical environment
– Familiarity with scripting or automation platforms (code experience a bonus)
– Strong project leadership skills—able to manage timelines, priorities, and stakeholders
– Clear communicator with an ability to distil complexity into clarity
– Comfortable working across both technical and business-facing teams
– Bonus points for experience with SIEM, SOAR, cyber reporting, or analytics tooling

Note: To apply for this role, you must hold all relevant work rights to allow you to live and work within the country this role is based, full time and without restriction. Ctrl is not able to offer sponsored Visas for this position.
