Let’s talk about the role:
We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Melbourne. The role will be a mixture of WFH and onsite with a client. We’re looking for industry-experienced professionals with at least 3 yrs’ broad, generalist experience across cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance where you were responsible for reviewing policies and governance, managing cybersecurity tools, software licence patching and version management. A somewhat technical background in infrastructure or SecOps is also required.

Let’s talk about your responsibilities:
· Work and collaborate with in-house security teams and key client stakeholders onsite to develop, implement, review, and maintain policies, procedures, governance and best practices for information security and compliance
· Aid the team in conducting regular compliance assessments to ensure the organisation is adhering to industry standards and regulations
· Develop and implement cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of security
· Work closely with technology teams to ensure cybersecurity programs are operating effectively and efficiently
· Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders and other departments on cybersecurity governance, risk, policy and governance compliance
Let’s talk about your skills:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related work experience (…we’re not hung up on Degrees!)
· Minimum 3 years’ industry experience in a Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance consulting role with some infrastructure and/or SecOps knowledge
· Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards where you were responsible for reviewing policies, compliance, governance, cybersecurity tools, software licence patching and version management
· Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· A natural problem solver with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
· Strong technical infrastructure knowledge across environments such as networking, cloud, application, firewalls, networking concepts, SIEM, anti-virus, EDR, anti-spam/email filtering, and data loss prevention, etc
· Preferred Certifications should include: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and/or CIS
