Jordan is a privacy and AI governance expert with extensive experience working for State and Federal regulators as well as in the private sector. Jordan works with organisations of all sizes to unlock innovation through effective governance. That means building privacy and AI governance programs, develop training and establishing risk management frameworks that are practical and integrate into existing organisational structures without re-inventing the wheel. Prior to joining ctrl, he was Assistant Commissioner for Operational Privacy and Assurance at the Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner. Jordan was the lead author of LexisNexis' Practical Guidance on AI governance and also co-hosts the popular podcast plain.txt, a regular conversation about tech policy, AI, privacy and cyber security.
Arjun specialises in providing strategic advice and communications expertise to help organisations built trust in the cybersecurity and privacy programs, internally and externally. He has extensive experience in crisis communications, board and executive engagement and training, and advising organisations on how to embed a privacy and cybersecurity culuture.
Arjun worked as a journalist at the Sydney Morning Herald and in senior media relations roles across government and the private sector before establishing the cyber strategy and outreach program for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. As co-host of the plain.txt podcast, he brings his expertise and insights to discuss key topics valuable to a variety of subjects.
